World Cup Draw Primer

The time is near when we will find out which cities our teams will be playing in next summer. The draw will be televised live on ESPN2 at 11:00 AM CT (12PM ET/10AM MT/9AM PT) and also on FIFA.com. I'll be watching at Sweetwater, so please join me there if you can.

There will be some famous performers, including Johnny Clegg, although I can't say if they will be shown on the ESPN broadcast.

I decided to wait until after the draw before booking any flights or accommodations. For US fans, US Soccer will have tickets available. Today they released details of how you may get them. There is a pre-application form to complete that will gain you access to the FIFA sales site for USSF supporters tickets after the draw on the 4th. If you are not already, you must become a US Soccer Supporters Club member. Apply here.
